Simply to say, this is a general care house. The purpose of the care home is to improve and ensure the quality of life of disabled and elderly people and to provide social services. The care home also participates in organizing the provision of rehabilitation services for residents.
A care home is a Round-the-clock facility established for temporary or permanent residence. The purpose is to provide a safe environment and the ability to cope with daily life for an adults who, for reasons, related to health, capacity or living environment is temporarily or permanently unable to cope independently at home.
The care house has 147 beds. The rooms accommodate from one to three wards and each room has a bathroom with toilet. All rooms are adapted to the needs of the wards. On each floor there are dining rooms, as well as kitchens for wards for independent use.
The elderly care home A.M.V.K.Hooldusteenus OÜ Senior Center is an institution operating on private capital.
From 01.01.2024 service prices change:
- Maintenance costs financed by the state will increase to 570 euros.
- for a residents of Kohtla-Järve – 1060.00 euros per month
- for bedridden residents of Kohtla-Järve – 1160.00 euros per month
- for living outside Kohtla-Järve – 1100.00 euros per month
- for bedridden customers living outside Kohtla-Järve – 1200.00 euros per month
- for customers living in a single room – 1300.00 euros per month
- for customers with special service needs – 1450 euros
